Frank Leach Competition for Bill Pinney Shield - theme for 2025 was ‘'British Nocturnal Wildlife' . The winner was Gill Sadler with her carving of a pair of owls. For 2026 Gill has chosen the theme ‘Anything that Lives under/in the Sea’. A restriction is the carving size must be no larger that 200mm x 200mm x 200mm (8” x 8” x 8”).
