Our Members are many and various; some are practically beginners and others have been carving for most of their lives. The styles and methods are just as varied, and we are always delighted with this variety which means that each individual is important for their contribution, whether it be flair, experience, youth, exuberance or meticulous workmanship.

We have sets of tools that you can use whilst at our club meetings together with small pieces of wood (available at nominal cost) that you can use on one of our starter projects

Membership is open to both sexes and all ages. (Note those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during Guild activities). We currently have between 25% and 30% female carvers.
There are four classes of Membership:
Full Members
Social Members (non-carving)
Honorary Members
Junior Members who are under the age of 18 or in full time education
